Proof that parenting lowers your standards

Last night we all watched a movie....We watched The Parent Trap, the new one, with Lindsey Lohan. Half way thru, dinner was ready so I called the kids, including my 37 year old one, down to dinner. And when we were through, the kids went out back to play.

Brian,on the other hand, wanted to finish the movie. He went downstairs and pleaded with the kids........"Guys, c'mon, we have to finish the movie". The kids had no interest.

So Brian sat down, alone, and watched The Parent Trap.

Brian, sat down, alone, and watched a Lindsey Lohan movie.

And he enjoyed it.
